Sounds of Light Productions is made up of the band by Elizabeth Sullivan-Holleman, Lynne DeRussy young talent and a woman named Mary Catherine. Their first CD Twelve original, based on a combination of traditional Catholic prayers, psalms and loved Sullivan-Holleman? S angelically inspired themes. Sounds of Music Productions has recently shared with me the following comments about their music and teamwork new CD, Angel Light: Q: Please provide some basic information about Sounds of Light Productions? As you all so creative and what are its origins? A: After a serious illness, the composer, Elizabeth Sullivan-Holleman, began to dream of new songs for a Catholic Mass. The first song she has dreamed of Agnus Dei in Latin. After hearing the voice of Lynne DeRussy, singing, as the champion of Our Lady of the Gulf Church, Betty (Elizabeth) thought: 'It is the voice I hear in my dreams. " Thus, Betty and Lynne began work on this whole mass, then entitled "Putting the Irish" A third friend, Mary Catherine (psuedonym), a piano student of Betty's, was to compose his own music, which he shared with them. Lynne is a native New Orleanian who now resides on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi. She graduated from the University of New Orleans, the mother of two daughters and a freelance muralist, landscape artist, champion of the church, and a master seamstress. Elizabeth Sullivan-Holleman, a graduate of Sophie Newcomb College of Tulane University, is a musician, composer, linguist, lecturer and author. He has taught over 3,000 children of all ages and is listed in Who's Who American Teachers. She is the mother of a son and daughter. She is a former commissioner of the State Commission for the Arts and Chairman of the 'Tribute to Mississippi Musician "series held at the Palace of the Goveor in Jackson, Mississippi. Mary Catherine, a composer and lyricist, he prefers to be known as Mary Catherine. Her Catholic faith is very dear to her. His compositions for children are especially beautiful.
