Reflections on a difficult passage genealogies gospel of Jesus Matthew 1:1-16 and Luke 3:23-38. The genealogies of Jesus has been a source of tension and dispute within the church. I believe in history and have experienced great confusion about what apologetic difficulty seems to be nothing less than the contradictions that come just in the studio when Matthew and Luke? Account of Jesus? pedigree. The two primary prophecies about Jesus Christ? s comment was that the Jews, and that he is a descendant of King David. Thus, the genealogy of Matthew shows that Jesus, as a descendant of Abraham is a Jew and a descendant of David inherited kingship. Luke on the other hand, the traces of Jesus? back to the line of Adam, and then the man Christ.Stein to support the contention that Matthew? Record s list of the genealogical line of Joseph and Luke traces the genealogy of Mary. Take note of particular interest apparently is off to Mary in Luke, as the spread through the room. Many of the difficulties these genealogies stone admit, are confusing and difficult to Matthew reconcile. The purpose? S pedigree, after Barclay was to show that Jesus was the son of David and so the family has organized tree, so easy for people to remember, because few people in this time of access to current copies. Luke, he suggests, traces the line back to the founder of the human race and, consequently, the national boundaries of race and origin of Jesus.McKenzie ends with Barclay. He points out the difference between the two authors, for the period of David Joseph and comments that there is no convincing explanation. He argues that both genealogies, however, too high artificial. There are those who do not believe there is a difference and are able to appear as a rational explanation, which will be examined under the microscope of the biblical facts. It is evident that the difference between the two genealogies is a serious problem of interpretation. A definitive solution to this issue may be complicated long in coming. And if you do not, you can discover a mountain of molehill.Rev. L.
