The temple is rebuilt, because once again there is an event with the Antichrist as the "abomination of desolation." Remember these 3 words! When this event occurs, you are literally a countdown of 42 months before Jesus retus. What makes the Anti-Christ, in this case is sitting in the temple of God, proclaiming to be God, and from that point on, the second half of the tribulation place, most of the persecution of Jews and Christians the world has ever seen!
