Rolling Rock in the Church Why are some churches in Old Time Hymns, and many others have guitars, drums and other instruments that are not in churches and in the twenty years? We are always far from what a Christian church should be, and something else, perhaps it is not pleasing to God today? I know some conservative churches that never allow anything but a piano and an organ for their music. They sing the old time hymns (from when I was a child in the church), many of whom are still very beautiful and nostalgic. Other churches can use almost any musical instrument. Christian songs of the new Christian artists of today are played and sung well. I must admit that some music is very popular is truly beautiful, and my heart is touched. One of these is "I can only imagine" by MercyMe. It describes what we feel when we find ourselves before Jesus one day. It gives me goose shots every time you play! There are many other beautiful Christian songs that are just not good. Did you ever feel the presence of the Lord in you in the church when you sing? According to the Bible, sing and praise the Lord, is what he loves for us to do. Here is a verse from the Bible that talks about David: And David and all the house of Israel played before the Lord on all kinds of instruments of fir wood, even on harps, and on Psalteries and tambourines and bags, and basin. 2 Samuel 6:5 It seems as if it were a collection of tools! I do not remember all the drums in the Bible, but were cited pools and tambourines that are similar to tambourines. Psalteries are stringed instruments, which consist of a wooden dish. I truly believe that if you are in church and praise the Lord with singing, no matter what kind is the time when I'm happy here. Singing feels good and makes your heart happy that God loves us, and while you're thanking God for all he has done and continues to do so. Strong hand is a perfect release! Make a joyful noise to the Lord all the earth: a noise, and rejoice, and sing praise. Psalm 98:4
