PART THREE RADIO Sermon FORGIVENESS This is the third part of a radio sermon I preached in 1994. Luke 6 verse 37 "Judge not, and will not be judged: condemn not, and will not be condemned: forgive, and you will be forgiven:" If someone wrongs you, our Bible tells us that we must forgive them. If someone evil, you need to apologize. Something happened to me for over two years in a church. This church has a special series of meetings ... "rebirth", which is called. The singing was excellent, and began to preach the Gospel, has been and continues and continues. Finally, the invitation song was sung, and there, on the back bench next to me was an old man. At the invitation song, the man got up and went out the door. The Lord spoke to me and said, "Go and see him. "So, too, got up and went away. I found that he had lost control of his bladder and his pants were wet. I was so shocked I could not find his car. I helped him, he said, and prayed for him. He had lost his wife and their absence. Approximately three months later, this man happened to be with Jesus, as I prayed for him that night, love and compassion of Jesus, so real and so strong. The next night in the "rebirth", the evangelist says, "Y'all should have been here last night. Condition was so bad, were almost the back door! "The" Y'all "in which he was the old me. Recently, I called the evangelist, and told him what had happened. It 'was very contrite and humbled by what I said. I had already forgiven him because I knew what the Lord has done that night. 1 Corinthians Chapter 12 speaks of spiritual gifts given by the Spirit the word of wisdom, word of knowledge, faith, gift of healing, working of miracles, prophecy, disceing of spirits, divers kinds of tongues, interpretation of languages. You must be a vessel for the Lord to give spiritual gifts for use in building his kingdom. Irvin L. Rozier
