Speaking of speaking in all languages A young bible college student once wrote and told me as she attends the university has taught that "speaking in languages" is the only evidence that has been filled with the Spirit and that no one was filled with the Spirit unless they have spoken in all languages. Apparently not sit with her and she wanted opinion.Let me begin by saying that I am very aware that not all subscribers to such issues eMail prescribing the conviction that the "language" of today are. The focus of this treaty is not to discuss this issue in one way or another. Suffice it to say that I hope we all read (or read) the scriptures enough to acknowledge: (A) that "speaking in languages", and (B), which many in the Body of Christ, across denominational lines, who say they I have received this gift. In this eMinistry, I have heard people from almost all the major names who have claimed to have received the gift of tongues, a number of conces that would be excommunicated or disfellowshipped, if he is ever present out.TONGUES IN BIBLEThe what language apparently enough important that God used this event to "boot" the Church (Acts 2). Logicallyspeaking, why should it be left there? The fact is that the gift of tongues is given, and after Pentecost. Again, there is no logical reason why there should be more humanly speaking.Jesus registered only a reference to speak languages. In Mark 16:17, speaking of all those who follow his disciples, said: "In my name cast out demons, speak with new languages you ...". That's it? This is all I had to say? And one thing we do is very important for the question! He spoke highly of the subsidiary and Discipleship spoken to speak languages. Strange as I have rarely heard people argue the "expel demons" part. And 'what they are doing very little ... even within the areas of spoken language? Just do not see a biblical thought.I evidence that dunamis (where we have our word "dynamite") the power of the first apostles who were withdrawn from the Church before the King retus. Personally, I can not believe that nobody can scripturally prove without doubt that speaks in all languages is evidence of the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Nor do I believe that there is someone who can scripturally prove that this gift (or more) was removed from the Christian arsenal. I am sure that both Christians argue all day about this issue. The promise, we must remember, was not "the language when you receive the Holy Spirit has come upon you." It is "The power!" It is not the language of fire. Not fast, powerful winds.POWER ! Question: What did miracles of the apostles after Pentecost did not have before? They were already healing the sick and casting out demons before the Upper Room experience. Jesus said, "... will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, throughout Judea and Samaria and to the ends of the earth "(Acts 1:8). Witnesses? In greek, the word is martyr. In essence: "You will be able to set up their lives for the sake of the kingdom, for Christ's sake!" The power that was to allow these simple, unleaed men to raise the dead, preach with convincing eloquence, torture, beatings bear to leave everything and everyone in it has previously had the comfort and anointed to write letters, too? Absolutely. You changed. Any other requirement, except as required for the construction of the Kingdom, our goal is squarely on "auto" and increases the risk of increasing its ugly head humanism among the things of God. " There are a lot of that already. As I said before, Christianity is not US.SPIRIT or meat? Go to language, to speak, no doubt there may be false. Let's examine that. Unchurched I had a neighbor who was the wife of a fun day of Pentecost, and that was playing ... good, very legitimate! But if we are going to appoint anyone to judge the languages that are "meat" and "Spirit", why not go all the way and have appointed people from his whip Meat-O-Meter and determine who is singing, preaching, or even a tenth of caality in the church too? Selah. Not all languages can be legitimate. This is simply inconceivable. Were exposed to a foreign language enough to know that I heard "language" which had a Spanish, German, African or American Indian flavor to them. I have heard that simply speaks broken dialect of a language they already have, having little to do with the miraculous gift of God, but simply to pray in this second "language" of them. Nothing wrong with that - I am happy to see all Christians pray, everywhere. Just not "classify" as legitimate to speak the language, in most Pentecostal circles. Neither the inclusion of an occasional phrase in Spanish, etc. In the ministry of deliverance, demonic languages can be heard at that most Pentecostals are envious. But keep this in mind: the desire for more of God should be praised, not scoed or ridiculed, or not the language! These things are too often used as a source of discord and division in Church.I could say some of the most incredible stories of people who spoke in all languages were heard and understood by someone close ... and served. For them, the mind is ... people by accident. This is terrible because this kingdom is not of you and me. If there are children of the house, our efforts must be geared towards the construction of the house, tend the house, filling the house, the extension of the house, curtains house.GIFT language CONTEXTUnderstanding sonship in the Kingdom of God must be placed in context of management and Servanthood. This brings us to the reality that there are witnesses (martyrs; used to death) the Gospel of the Kingdom of God and not govements. Where is the U.S. govement then made the center of Christianity is all about us and what to do if you get when logging. Languages can get? Great! But wait ... if it is a constructed language, but to ourselves, not to focus on making disciples, right? You see, the gift of tongues, when rightly says, is to strengthen oneself (1 Cor 14:4-5,12). Rarely, but not always do anything for anybody, especially the way we see it is in most cases today. Unfortunately, I saw the languages become a stick for measuring spirituality, creation of a "are against, not the" bad system of caste in the Church, inviting the dissent in the ranks. Frustrating and disappointing, even those who have not "received" the gift of tongues. Therefore, we must ask ourselves, in our desire for the gift of tongues, that is our real motivation? If attacked by a bear that you prefer a rifle or the gift of tongues? Well, the gift of tongues is apparently widespread in the Church of the West, but the fact that our house is in such chaos that one would use reveals the obvious fruits of the Spirit more than we need the gift of tongues now. This is crucial because Pentecostalism is now the fastest growing segment of Christianity in the Weste church and its leaders must be prepared for this lack of fruit. Jesus said: "For the fruit known" (Matthew 7:16-20). No "for his language." How do I know you're a Christian? Because they say so? By this logic, if you said it was a book because we are in a library, I think you should? How do you know that I am a Christian? If you do not. Santos, to be known by our fruit.Go ahead, judge me. Some cry, "But we are not supposed to judge" (You should go to the maintenance rule again!) Yes, I know ... Scripture says: "Do not judge, or, again, will be judged ...". However, the verse continues, "... in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the extent that the usage will be measured to you ". In other words, to assess your lifestyle and perceive me to be evil, and bring this issue to others, only for the courage to do so (A) for my benefit, for the love of me, and (B) if they are willing to undergo the same control over their lives. The fact is that Scripture repeatedly calls us to judge people and things (1 Corinthians 5:9, 2 Cor 11:15, Phil 3:2, 1 Jn 4:1), and teaches us to "try everything" (1 Thess 5, 21). Just that. The point is, you know that I am a Christian at the time of presenting the fruits of the Spirit listed in Galatians 5:22. I love unconditionally? I am happy, my happiness, or up and down with my situation? I explain to peace in the midst of struggles? They are patient? Type? Good of others? Full of faith in God? Soft, self-control? Personally, I want the Church to speak in tongues all day. This could eliminate some of the back stabbing, murmuring, criticism and gossip that is generated from that small part of our anatomy. It would be particularly useful in the car before and after the meetings of the church, agree? (This is now the attempt of humor.) YOU "LL KNOW WE ARE CHRISTIANS BY OUR ... languages? One final thought: At first, I was taught that there is a natural example of everything that happens in the spiritual. That, as proved to be true again and again. Well, why are the soldiers of the Lord, who are involved in a spiritual war (Eph. 6), it would not be prudent to obtain a "secret code" for the use of language in prayer, when the enemy was listening? After all, is that we are snared by the words of mouth (Prov. 6:2). Ridiculous? Tell U.S. Marines! In World War II Navajo code talk "took part in every assault the Marines in the Pacific from 1942 to 1945. Served in all six Marine divisions, Marine Raider battalions and Marine parachute units, transmitting messages by telephone and radio in their native language, a code that the Japanese broke.By the way, the idea to use for communications Navajo safe came from a man named Philip Johnston, the son of a Christian missionary to the Navajos and one of the few non-Navajos who spoke the language fluently. As a result of their efforts, the Marines recruited 200 Navajos who, during the war were praised for their skill, speed and accuracy. Major Howard Connor, said: "If not for the Navajos, the Marines would never have taken Iwo Jima." Connor had six Navajo code talking about working all day during the first two days of battle. The six sent and received over 800 messages, all without error. The Japanese expert doubts were breaches of the code of the Navajo language. His intelligence chief said, but have since been able to decipher the codes used by the U. S. Army and Army Air Corps, they never cracked the code used by Marines.Something consider? Here are some things that Jesus had to say in relation to the child and Discipleship. Notice, "speaking in languages" is to be found anywhere. We must emphasize that the Lord said to eliminate stress and most of the "language" issue.READ 'em and collect! Mat 5:9 "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God" Mat 5:44,45 "But I say unto you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so you can be sons of your Father in heaven, because it makes the sun and the evil good, and sends rain on the just and unjust. " Mat 13:38 "... the field is the world, and the good seed means the sons of the kingdom, the TARES are the sons of the evil ... " Mat 28:19-20 "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things as I have commanded you. I am with you always, until the end of the world. " Joh 8:31 "If I remain in my word, then you are truly my disciples. Joh 13:35 "By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another." Joh 15:8 "This is my Father glorified, that becomes much fruit, because you will be my disciples."
